CAMBRIDGE SUMMER  MUSIC exists to promote live classical music of the highest calibre in Cambridge and the surrounding villages.

For forty years the annual Cambridge Summer Music Festival has provided a platform for outstanding soloists, chamber ensembles, choirs and orchestras, as well as supporting talented young artists at the beginning of their careers. It presents works by both living composers and more familiar repertoire, all performed in beautiful historic settings in and around our great city.

The 2019 Festival will once again be directed by leading choral conductor David Hill and will run from 13 – 27 July.

From the classic concert hall to quirky corners of the city, the brilliant Cambridge Summer Music Festival hosts some of the world’s finest musicians.”
