10-25 July

The 2020 Cambridge Summer Music Festival celebrates its 41st season with a total of 30 evening and lunchtime concerts, family shows and open-air ‘Sounds Green’ concerts in the Cambridge University Botanic Garden.

The 2020 programme covers the full spectrum of the greatest classical composers, from Bach to Shostakovich, with performances by Tasmin Little, Martin Roscoe, Guy Johnston, Evelyn Glennie, Faust Chamber Orchestra, Leon McCawley and much more.

The Festival pays a special tribute to Ludvig van Beethoven on the 250th anniversary of his birth. We will hear many of his works including the Diabelli Variations for piano, the revolutionary Eroica symphony, and numerous chamber works.

Full details of the programme will be published at the beginning of April. Booking opens for Friends of CSM on 24 April and for the general public on 1 May.
