Academy of Ancient Music

JS Bach Orchestral Suite No.3 in D major
JS Bach Concerto for two violins in D minor
JS Bach Brandenburg concerto No.5 in D major
JS Bach Overture in G minor BWV1070

For more than 40 years the Academy of Ancient Music has been a Cambridge institution. Founded by the legendary Christopher Hogwood and under current Music Director Richard Egarr, the orchestra goes from strength to strength, with popular series at West Road and in London, alongside a touring programme that takes the band from Birmingham to Bangkok.

In this concert AAM leader Pavlo Beznosiuk directs the music of JS Bach, a repertoire in which the orchestra is particularly highly acclaimed.

“Compellingly original, uniformly outstanding.”
