Programme to include works for massed choir and organ by Elgar, Howells, Mendelssohn and Wesley.

Gabrieli Roar is a unique and exciting partnership with a network of diverse British youth choirs. Taking a bold stance on the ability of teenage singers, Roar challenges them to perform side-by-side with professional musicians, immersing them in the renowned energy of Gabrieli’s performances. In July, nearly 200 young singers from all over the UK will come together with 50 professionals from the Gabrieli Consort for a residential training weekend in Cambridge, culminating in a large-scale performance of works by Elgar, Howells, Mendelssogn and Wesley in awe-inspiring Ely Cathedral.

Join us for a triumphal celebration of Anglican choral music in this awe-inspiring building, and celebrate the incredible achievements of these dedicated young singers.
