Junior Prime Brass celebrate the Festival’s two themes with chorales by JS Bach and works by three women composers — Judith Bingham, Hildegard von Bingen and Maria Theresia von Paradis.

The main work in the programme is the suite A Londoner in New York in which well-known TV composer Jim Parker evokes famous Big Apple landmarks such as Grand Central Station, the Chrysler Building, Central Park and the Radio City Music Hall.

Junior Prime Brass was founded in 2010 and comprises talented young musicians from Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Suffolk.
