Afrosamba is a Brazilian four-piece encompassing styles such as Afro Brazilian Jazz, Samba and Bossa Nova. Based in the UK, the group is fronted by Brazilian born Pilo Adami with seasoned musicians from Mozambique, Brazil and the UK. Influences are drawn from João Gilberto’s harmonic complexities, Airto Moreira’s experimental rhythms and Jorge Ben Jor’s laid back approach.
