This lively award-winning group specialises in the traditional folk music and dance of their native Hungary. Mentés Másként are constantly looking for new ways to revive ancient tunes using original instruments, singing and traditional instrumental techniques.

The Sounds Green series of concerts take place on Wednesday evenings in July in the beautiful setting of Cambridge University Botanic Garden – the best in open-air music. Bring a rug and a picnic – open to all ages. Food, ice creams and drinks on sale. Music from 6.15-7.00pm; garden closes at 8.00pm.
Retiring collection towards the cost of concerts – please look out for stewards bearing buckets as you leave!
